A new process has been implemented between the government of the Russian Federation and South Africa on a mutual waiver of visas, making the process easier for travellers.
18 countries, including Morocco, travel to the Russian Far East region without a visa.
Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev signed the decree allowing citizens of 18 countries to enter the Far East region via the Vladivostok port without visas, the Anatolia news agency reported.
According to the new decree, the citizens of these countries, businessmen and tourists, will be exempted from the process of obtaining the traditional Russian "Visa" to travel to the Far East of the country. It is the largest and least populated area of the Russian Federation. Millions of people on an area of 6 million square kilometers, and the most famous cities of the region Vladivostok and Khabarovsk.
